Alright, my chickas. I think we should focus on two main things for opera rp after we are Christmas partied out. 1. Rehearsal for an opera 2. After the performance/after party. I don't care if it's not technically the 'season' for it, or anything that is keeping it 100% Real because Cami is soon going to be gone for about four, five months, and if we do opera rp we should try to get something that would include her. Not to mention we finally have a lead woman! y44y. Basically the rehearsal would be the normal chaos, techs doing everything, costumers fighting with divas, etc, etc, and the after party would be after the performance, so we don't have to act out four acts of some opera. And its an excuse to look swank and party~ We have the leads, we have techs, and costumers, and our lovely patrons and manager, but if you are struggling with ideas for characters ((if you want)) you could always make a dancer or singer. Hopefully we can get some new people with GnG day who are interested. I think this should be our main concern as of now. Iiiif everyone leans to wanting some Counterfeit Terrorist Guy doing god knows what, then we should discuss that after we have the basis of what we're doing settled. It shouldn't be that hard, I don't think. Its just a nice excuse to group rp while using the opera house. yay. Please don't leave this empty or I -will- bump it, people.

I will be very involved with Yvette and Noel! n.n
Jacques Offenbach's opera "Les Contes d'Hoffman," premieres in Paris on February 10, 1881, if anyone was interested. Not that we have to do that one specifically. If no one cares about being dead-on with dates, it's possible. Maybe just as a future note, I'll leave it here.
Who's going to rehearse these bitches? As in, direct? As in, buhh?

I think they should all do an old favorite, like The Marriage of Figaro. Or maybe it should be Nolo's decision. Or something.
A ballet rat would be good--something to distract Noel, in any case. 8)
Annnnnd we should organize times to rehearse n shit!

Jacques Offenbach's opera "Les Contes d'Hoffman," premieres in Paris on February 10, 1881. Only at the Opera-Comique and not the Palais Garnier, if we want to be incredibly precise about it. x) Old favorites would probably work best. I'm sure if we really, really wanted to be psychotic about it, I could find out what was playing at the Palais Garnier around 1881~

I've already made an Italian male dancer yay! Marcel noticed ;D Oh and I'm free for anything that isn't on a Thursday or Saturday night (some Thursday nights too, actually). Let's have some fun! We can RP a lot that isn't official - just see who is around and hold a practice or something? I'm up for whatever. I'm just really excited there might be a return of opera RP.

I like the idea of just doing it whenever. There would be rehearsals every single day, realistically, so we can just take whoever's on and roll with it.
I have to go to bed pretty early now because of my job, but on weekends I can still stay up kind of late (but no later than two or so).

When ever it is! Do we need to decide on an opera then? It would be nice if we had some kind of goal in mind to fuel all of this, or something that goes down to cause at least Frustration for a couple people. Not phantom appearances - more like...a set falling apart. Or Lucien being Not Pleased over something. IUNNO. ANYTHING LIKE THAT. Just so it isn't " yay we're singing. now what "

I'm content with Figaro. I don't think anyone was set on any other particular opera. Nolo could find what they actually were doing at the time, I'm sure, but no one really cares that much...do they?
