So they don't edit ass but they do edit shit (sh.it) and cock (co.ck). Interesting. But seriously, swear words are just another form of another word that makes little school girls giggle. A rooster is a co.ck! To take a dump is the same as to take a sh.it.
Seriously...how do you get nuts out of sh.it?...ew....don't answer that....

I think it's because of the context the words are generally used in. For example, "s" is used more often as an expression of frustration, rather than a word to describe fecal matter. So, in that case, "awe, nuts!" works rather well.
Or maybe I'm just reading into it too much. xe

But the way is makes Japanese words look is just funny. And 'aishiteru' still looks like a Japanese word itself, except you'd pronounce it 'ah-ee-noo-tseh-roo'... tse isn't a Japanese syllable, but since 'tsu' is it's almost accurate looking. I think I'll say it now, and only those in the know will know wtf I'm talking about. n.n And I will also stop my linguistic rambling, as I've just realized no one here really cares.

The 's' word is considered offensive no matter what the context, actually, just like the f-word. I only use it when I'm Very Frustrated, and no one is around. No one.
As for editing the Japanese: weeeeeird...
I shall test Spanish! 'M----a'
Edit: okay, so it doesn't censor Spanish. I think I will, though.

Well, the thing is, those aren't Japanese curse words. They're just Japanese words that contain letters that would be curse words in English... n.n

*doesn't speak much of any language* So...can we get back to what this thread really was about?
As for characters, I am adding to my simple collection. I will now play a spanish gypsy by the name of Arcelia Vidal. She is quiet and sophisticated, was a slave, and is now filthy rich but doesn't show it.
Added Note: She is not actually joined yet, but still...I'll play her until I know, because Des just idles until someone she rps with gets on.

Hmm, I play Carmella Evangalista. Arrived here as a mortal, got turned by Arsenius and am now an aristocratic creature of the night. My charry is slowly growing more and more snobbish, as her sister (by vampire) grows more and more in love with human's. (Sorry Meka, had to say it xD). Anyway, I guess we're the female Louis and Lestat of Paris? *snickers*
I own the movie 'Interview with the Vampire'.. I've seen 'Queen of the Damned' (dind't like it too much.. Erm.. I /just/ watched the newest version of 'The Phantom of the Opera', it was great. I plan on reading the vampire chronicles sometime soon, however. My charry's name was taken from my film acting agent *chuckles*. Yep, that's about it I guess.

Welcome! And, if you enjoy Interview, please read the book Queen of the Damned. It is the best one, in my opinion, and that crazy movie doesn't do it justice. In fact, it changes so many things it's barely recognizable. n.n Edit: And if anyone, anyone, ever chooses to read Pandora, you'll see Sophronius' inspiration. But no one seems to have read that one because it is about a minor character's life and isn't central to the plot of the others. :/ But it has the Roman Empire!
