As you all know, after Mardi Gras comes the beginning of Lent. Which means your characters give up red meat and quite a few other handy items (eggs and butter included) til Easter.
Yesturday they also had those sweet arse pitch marks on their foreheads also....
So, just as a note to you all- now is time for holiness.

O lawd, how will France survive without butter!
Abacus isn't giving up a damn thing, although he'll say he will. Billy will give up whatever his mother tells him to. Eric has decided to go without wine, since he really doesn't want to give up anything else.
No one else is giving up anything because they don't really care to.

I don't have any devote catholics. Simone was catholic when she was brought up but I don't think she'd celebrate lent.
OH GOD WE NEED MORE CATHOLICS.

Wow, I have a lot of Catholics.
Nobody really cares what Sorrell does, but Max will give up Catholicism in hopes that his multitudes of pubescent Anglican peers will stop picking on him.
