I'll now be taking commisions (right word?) requests for housing in Quartier des Bohemes.
You can have anything from a cheap room in the boarding house, to a cheap townhouse, to a ncer bed in the prostitute's dormitory inside L'Enfer's bordello. Or if you have a little more cash you can get a nicer flat.
The name of the game here is shabby chic: you get cracked plaster walls, occasional broken window, unsold art pieces piled up near your walls- all you need for Bohemian urban blight.
In comparison, the bordello is quite nice, so if it's quality you desire, sign yourself out to be a hooker mon ami, or actually show me somewhere in a realistic manner why you have money and are living here.
Rich people are welcome to visit and gawk and the poor artists, even though we can do that everyday to Jeannot.

Arcelia needs a nice place...maybe a cheap townhouse. She's been showing her money a little more than usual these days with the new clothes....

I bet our brand new bearded lady Tatienne Noel would like a nice space to call her own. Mind you, there isn't much money in the circus freak business...

Carie is in need of a place to say. Mind you, she is very wealthy, so something more towards the nicer extent.
Luciferius might also need a place. Preferably a place of his own that might have a cellar to put a coffin.

I hate to ask for much, but if possible- I'll need both a room in the bordello for the prostitute I will play (Mariah Easton) and possibly some sort of place for Soph. Maybe a basement in some building or other that some confused person kindly rented out to a certain funny-looking scholar. With lots and lots of books. Oh god, the books. He's making a nice little income by now, both by tutoring the charming Mademoiselle Bontecou in her Italian and probably making translations of books on the side. But renting a whole townhouse would be pointless, he doesn't need the windows anyway, so I imagine he'd just rent out someone's basement and lock the doors during the day. Does that make sense? But if you have too much work already, don't worry about it. I can just stay with him having an assumed place somewhere. I'm not sure if our pimp to be has any ideas about the bordello, if you want to ask him whisper his alt Crowley sometime when he's on. I don't think he's really visited the forums yet.

And any small, out of the way place that no one would tend to look in would work for Aramis and JL....yes....they live together...so sue me for having two characters that are cousins....

I need a small room in a boarding house for Broschi. Nothing fancy--he's not rich, but he can at least afford that.
Oh, and Xarles needs a townhouse with a basement. I always imagined him in a place that looks like crap and smells like piss, to be less than creative with my similies.

Xarles should have the house that Soph lives in the basement of. Perhaps the person who owns the building rented the different parts of it to them separately. "Yes, you can have this building for less because there's a funny pale man living in the basement." It's like a sitcom! Especially since, from your description, the basement would be the nicest part of the house.

Nonono. He can't have someone living in a basement--he needs it. Trust me.

Aw, darn. I just don't want to end up in the basement of someone I don't know well OOCly. I'd suggest Broschi, but he's afraid of the funny pale people. :/

Soph can always stay with the quarreling cousins, Aramis and JL...as long as he stays out of Aramis' way when he's drunk and doesn't try to jump in on any of their fights, no matter how rough they look...

Also, I'd like to add that the boarding house has a few rather large rooms, so if you'd like a roommate or things to be absolutely random... and if you're that broke... you can do for a more... studio room.

Maybe the boarding house could have a basement! Though I'm not sure that makes much sense...I'm just trying to think of ways so you don't have to make a whole extra house for me since I wouldn't be using most of it.
