When I installed my tablet, Vista automatically installed this handwriting-recognition software that is really obnoxious and pops up when I don't want it to. (in exchange I had to give up pen sensitivity in Painter Classic, my primary drawing program ) I have tried to use this software several times now and clearly it is defective.

Yeah, Vista's a pain like that, but once you override those it's smooth sailing. I've had Vista for two years!

Not really related except that I have been using vista on my mom's comp while my own is down, but My Computer has pretty officially bit the big one. It won't stay on for longer than about ten minutes which is just about five minutes longer than it takes it to go on and start up. Also, my CD drive has ceased working which means that I can't have Station to Station on my I-tunes (almost as frustrating to me as not having access to my files ):<). If anyone's been wondering where I've been, that's where. Bright horizon is that the computer repair place is open at reasonable hours on Saturday I discovered, so I shall be taking it in this weekend... and preparing for the serious blow to my budget

Wow. Whenever I use that program (my third time installing my tablet, I decided to install it too), it started OUT recognizing my writing great, but then slowly got worse and worse. Or my writing got worse and worse. But it was pretty bad writing to begin with, so I dunno.
I use it for notes I need to see in the morning sometimes, but that's about it.
